Christopher J. Duba
Chris’s practice is primarily transaction oriented and he regularly assists clients in purchases, sales, exchanges, leasing, financing and development matters. Chris has significant experience in sophisticated real estate, business and commercial matters in both Michigan and Illinois. Chris also has expertise in day-to-day business representation, succession planning and counseling. In addition, Chris represents both commercial lenders and borrowers in documenting, negotiating, and closing commercial loan transactions. Chris also routinely represents buyers, sellers, landlords, tenants and investors in residential real estate matters throughout the State of Michigan and the Chicagoland area in Illinois.

Education
Chris graduated from the University of Notre Dame with honors where he received his B.B.A. in Accountancy. Chris also graduated from the University of Notre Dame Law School where he received his Juris Doctorate.
Professional Affiliations
Chris is licensed to practice law in both the States of Michigan and Illinois. Chris is a member of the Michigan State Bar Association, the Illinois State Bar Association, the Grand Rapids Bar Association, and various business and real estate sections. Chris is admitted to practice law before the United States District Court for the Western District of Michigan, all Michigan State courts, the United States District Court for the Northern District of Illinois, and all Illinois State courts. Chris is also a member of the Catholic Lawyers Association in Grand Rapids, Michigan.
Community Involvement
Chris is active in the national Notre Dame Monogram Club, the Notre Dame Club of Grand Rapids, the Highlands/Elks Club in Grand Rapids, the West Catholic and Catholic Central High School Alumni Association, and his home Church in Grand Rapids – St. Anthony's.
