Donald E. Duba
Don graduated from the University of Detroit School of Law in 1992 and began practicing law in his hometown of Grand Rapids immediately thereafter. Over the last fifteen years, Don has developed a strong practice representing the varied legal needs of closely held, family owned businesses of all types, and has provided related legal services to the individuals and families associated with those businesses. Don has also developed long-term friendships with his clients as a result of providing thoughtful counsel focusing on efficiently achieving each client’s unique vision and goal. Don’s varied experience allows him to provide his clients with the appropriate advice for their specific needs - ranging from isolated day-to-day tasks to long range and complex planning. Don’s knowledge of the interconnected areas of business planning, real estate, and estate planning insure that his clients have the opportunity to explore creative and effective techniques to accomplish their specific desired result.

Education
Don graduated from Michigan State University with a Bachelor of Arts and received his Juris Doctorate from the University of Detroit School of Law.

Don is licensed to practice law in the States of Michigan and Montana. Don is a member of the State Bar of Michigan, State Bar of Montana, and the Grand Rapids Bar Association. Don is admitted to practice law before the United States District Court for the Western District of Michigan and the Sixth Circuit Federal Court of Appeals. Don has also appeared before the Michigan Court of Appeals and more than twenty different County District, Circuit and Probate courts throughout the State of Michigan.
Community Involvement
Don has served as an appointed board member of the City of Grand Rapids Zoning Board of Appeals. Don is a member of the Right to Life of Michigan Political Action Committee, the Grand Rapids Right to Life Board of Directors, and the Catholic Lawyers Association. Don is a former member of the St. Isidore School Board and is a current parishioner of St. Anthony's in Grand Rapids.
