Growing up in a family that was the owner and operator of Duba’s Restaurant in Grand Rapids for almost 50 years, our attorneys had a first hand look at the family owned and restaurant business models. As a result, we can relate to routine issues faced by the owners of family operations, restaurants, bars and party stores. Our unique background has allowed us to develop expertise in addressing, petitioning, and processing liquor license transfers and approvals and in challenging liquor license concerns before the Michigan Liquor Control Commission. We routinely have several liquor license files in process with the MichiganU Liquor Control Commission. Our experience in this area often results in a successful and expedited transfer of licenses. We also have experience assisting clients in securing other governmental licenses in the mortgage broker, insurance and real estate professions and have experience representing license holders when his, her, or its license is impacted or compromised.
